Love Beyond Christmas
Every child in Hampton Roads deserves to experience the delight of opening a stocking on Christmas morning. With the help of community sponsors, The Salvation Army, in partnership with myTVZ and Dollar Bank, can provide Christmas stockings for thousands of needy children. Each donation to the myHoliday Socks program will provide a local child with an age-appropriate stocking stuffed with small toys, games, hygiene items, and more.
It is hard for many of us to imagine not being able to celebrate during the holiday season. But for many families we serve, finding the extra money to afford a holiday celebration is a struggle at best and frequently impossible. Due to inflation, the need is up, and an increased number of families are turning to The Salvation Army for assistance.
Empty stockings can be sponsored and returned to any Dollar Bank location by Friday, December 2, 2022, or directly to the Salvation Army’s Christmas Warehouse no later than Friday, December 9th. One or more pre-filed stockings can also be sponsored by going to myHolidaySocks.org.
