Summer Camp
For so many children in the Hampton Roads community, summer is spent inside, in front of the TV, playing video games or using electronic devices. The Salvation Army Camp Happyland provides an opportunity for educational, emotional, spiritual and physical enrichment in a fun, safe, faith based environment.
The Salvation Army Summer Camps allow Hampton Roads children to attend a week-long camp where they play sports, swim, explore the outdoors and make crafts. Beyond the recreation, with the help of trained counselors, they learn how
to live together with a diverse group of neighbors and learn how to address and overcome challenge in their daily lives.
If you are interested in having your child attend Camp Happyland and reside in the Norfolk, Virginia Beach or Chesapeake (not including zip codes 23221 and 23223), please contact Stacey Adkins by phone at(757) 622-5762 ext.64334 or by email at Stacey.Adkins@uss.salvationarmy.org.
