summer camp

Looking for a free, safe, spiritual and fun program for your kids to enjoy during summer time off from school? The Salvation Army’s Summer Camp at Camp Happyland  may be just the place.

From music, performing arts, recreational and outdoor experiences to spiritual formations, the goal of Camp Happyland is to be an all-inclusive ministry that strengthens body, soul, and mind. For more than 100 years, The Salvation Army has recognized the value of camping and has witnessed the difference it can make in people’s lives. It opens an entirely new world for a child. We aim to meet the needs of our campers; physical, social, and spiritual needs. The Salvation Army is a Christian organization which makes it possible for our camping program to integrate concern for the spiritual dimension of life. Camping at its best is an educational process in which the camper — and the camp staff — may find a new understanding of God and His creation. The natural outdoor locale provides an ideal setting for the guiding of young hearts and minds towards spiritual values.
