Our needs vary among the respective programs. With that in mind, we know writing a check may not be feasible for some, but providing an extra set of bath towels or school supplies is a great way for you to impact the community.

Our biggest areas of need for in-kind donations are with our Homeless Shelter and The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club.

Click here to view items needed on our Walmart Registry list and have them sent directly to us.

You can also use Capital One Shopping  to compare prices among different retailers to help you save in addition to giving back.

When our shelter clients come to us, they typically have very little. Necessary household items can become quite expensive for our clients when they are moving into their permanent housing. Provide a “welcome home” kit that an individual or family can take when they leave from our emergency shelter into housing.

“Welcome home” kits must contain new, unused items and can be brought to 2 West Grace Street during our regular operating hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30AM-Noon and 1:00PM-4:30. Please contact kathy.cundiff@uss.salvationarmy.org to coordinate a donation drop off.
