Our Emergency Shelter Services help all residents break the cycle of homelessness and alleviate ongoing crisis by:
In addition to providing a bed, a place to shower and at least two hot meals each day, our case managers concentrate on helping residents identify problems that may have contributed to their homelessness. Some of these issues include substance abuse, employment and/or educational deficiencies, financial mismanagement and mental health.
Staff assist each new resident in developing realistic goals to overcome their situations.
Substance abuse, motivational, and ‘Life Skills Enrichment’ meetings are conducted three nights per week for shelter residents.
