Love Beyond Christmas

CHRISTMAS PROGRAMS

Holidays provide a sense of joy and tradition. Even in hard times, acknowledging holiday customs may provide a sense of relief and peace. Because of this, The Salvation Army endeavors to spread hope year-round while also acknowledging religious and national holidays.

Many families receive aid over a period of months after the Christmas season, as well as people struggling with difficult family, emotional, or employment problems.

RED KETTLES

The traditional red kettle is an integral part of the Christmas scene, with millions of dollars donated each year to aid needy families, seniors, and the homeless.

Donations and financial assistance provide Christmas dinners, clothing, and toys for families in need, including families of prisoners.

ANGEL TREE

The Angel Tree program touches the lives of thousands of children and their families every year.

We rely on community members to adopt Angels and/or donate financially to ensure every child enrolled in the program wakes up to gifts under their Christmas tree. That’s where you come in!

SEASONAL PROGRAMS

Volunteers distribute gifts to shut-ins in hospitals and nursing homes, and shelters are open for sit-down dinners. The Salvation Army endeavors to bring spiritual light and love to those it serves at Christmas so that the real meaning of the season is not forgotten.

VOLUNTEER

Sign up today to ring bells at the Red Kettles for The Salvation Army! Bell ringers are the difference between an empty kettle and one that raises enough money to provide a family with a weeks’ worth of groceries or an individual with shelter for a night. The safety of our volunteers is a top priority, and we have new protocols to protect you. Shifts are available now!

Make the most of the Christmas season by giving back to your community! Whether you’re ringing bells at red kettles, assisting with our Angel Tree program or serving holiday meals to the hungry, you’ll be making a difference in the lives of those in need.
