Pathway of Hope

Breaking the cycle of multi-generational poverty

The Pathway of Hope program provides individualized services to families with children. These families desire to take action to break the cycle of crisis and vulnerability that repeats generation after generation.

THE PATHWAY OF HOPE MISSION

Pathway of Hope seeks to address the root causes of poverty. By helping families overcome challenges like unemployment, unstable housing and lack of education, we can lead families down a path toward increased stability and ultimately, self-sufficiency.

THE PATHWAY OF HOPE APPROACH INCLUDES

  • Providing targeted, specialized services to families with a genuine desire to take action.
  • Aligning The Salvation Army’s internal resources to the goals of each family as we support their journey.
  • Utilizing community collaboration and shared resources in service of families in the program
  • Moving families away from crises and vulnerability and toward stability, and eventually self-sufficiency, tracking progress along the way with measurable goals.
  • Strengths-based case management and social work services for each family.
